At Steve4bees, beekeeping isn't just our job; it's our way of life. Since 2008, we've transformed a backyard hobby into a thriving family business dedicated to the welfare of bees.

Our Story

Steven began beekeeping in 2008 as a hobby, starting with live bee removal and experimenting with different hive designs. After losing his job as a team lead in security software development, he turned his beekeeping hobby into a livelihood. Over time, his sons - Arthur, Jonathan, and Nicolai - joined in, making beekeeping a family affair. Now, Steve4bees represents not just one person, but a team: Steven, Arthur, Jonathan, and Nicolai. We are registered and permitted by the Texas Apiary Inspection Service, Department of Entomology at Texas A&M University.

What We Do

Live Bee Removal

Have a bee issue? We provide bee solutions. Our methods and tools include forced absconds, cut-outs, trap-outs, and bee vacuums - all pesticide-free. We relocate bees from your property to our apiaries in South Central Texas, ensuring they continue their essential pollination work.

Hive Leasing

We offer hive leasing to smaller properties and farms, which can sometimes yield property tax benefits. This service not only boosts local pollination but also supports bee populations.

Honey Sales

Our honey is a direct reflection of our local environment, offering a pure taste of our region's flora in South Central Texas.

Our Commitment

Education & Community
